WNBA Career:

Wolters was selected by the Houston Comets in the third round (36th overall) during the 1999 WNBA Draft and subsequently in the 2000 Expansion Draft by Indiana Fever.

Wolters was traded to the Sacramento Monarchs for the 14th pick in the 2001 WNBA Draft on April 11, 2001. Wolters continued to play for the Monarchs until May 20, 2003, when she was released.

At 6 feet 7.5 inches tall, she is the eighth-tallest person to have played professionally in the WNBA history.

She was born on 17 November 1982k, Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States. She began playing basketball from quite a young age. Her height helped her to flourish in the basketball court.

College Career:

Katharen Ruth Katie Mattera was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Mattera went on to star on the women’s basketball team while attending Liberty University, where she majored in physical education.

She was a three-time Big South Conference Player of the Year, a Wade Trophy, John R. Wooden and Naismith Award nominee. She also became the Big South Conference’s all-time shot-blocker on February 14, 2005. Feenstra was the tallest player in Liberty University and South Big Conference history. She also became the South Big Conference all time leading shot-blocker.

Later, She finished her career at Liberty as one of only two players in NCAA history to lead the nation in field-goal percentage in back-to-back seasons (2004, 2005)

Standing at 6feet 8.5inches tall, Zheng Haixia also played for the Los Angeles Sparks in the WNBA.
